You need to be fully logged into your Fit account with sharing enabled.
Check to make sure…
- You’re signed into your Google account in the Google Fit phone app
- You’re signed into your Google account in the Fit watch app
- You’re signed into your Fit account in the Wellness watch app
It could also be a connection issue.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on phone and watch
- Ensure Wear OS phone app indicates connection via Bluetooth to watch
