Why is my Battery Mode no longer selected in the WearOS app on my Gen1 Touchscreen Smartwatch?

Making settings updates in the Wear OS menus outside of Smart Battery Modes deselects your current mode due to manual changes. You will need to select your mode of choice again in order to reset.
